Codencer is open source under Apache 2.0. The OSS Core is free, forever. The repo is maintained primarily by the founder while building toward Cloud Preview and Cloud Beta. Sponsorship moves us off "primarily one person" toward a real maintainer team.
What sponsorship enables
- More executor adaptersToday we ship Codex, Claude Code, Antigravity, Qwen, OpenClaw. Sponsorship lets us prioritize the next adapter operators ask for — Cline, Aider, custom in-house executors, specialized agents — without trading off the validator loop work on the v0.6 roadmap.
- More provider connectorsSlack is strongest. Jira is polling-first. The rest are narrower. Sponsorship buys coverage on whichever connector your team needs first.
- Faster cadence on the audit query APIThe v0.6 roadmap target is August 2026. Sponsorship can bring it forward.
What sponsorship doesn't enable
We will not change the architecture or the trust model for sponsors. Codencer does not run inference. Codencer does not host the LLM. Codencer is local-first by design. These are non-negotiable. Sponsorship buys roadmap velocity, not architectural concessions.
